Where can I purchase Bagatiba?
Bagatiba is exclusively available at bagatiba.com and cannot be purchased elsewhere.
 
Do you allow Exchanges or Returns?
Unfortunately we do not accept returns or exchanges due to hygienic reasons. 
 
What payments do you accept?
We accept most major credit cards.
 
Are Taxes & Duties included in international shipping charges?
Taxes & Duties are added to your DHL shipping option at check out and will not need to be paid for before arrival - if your shipping checkout has stated "taxes & duties paid". If you are not sure about this, please send us an email and we will let you know. If you are contacted via DHL to pay Taxes & Duties, we are not responsible for them as each country is different - if you choose not to pay them your order will be forfeited and not refunded. We apologize for any inconveniences.
 
When will my order arrive?
Your order is packed and shipped within 1-3 days of your purchase. Please advise this when choosing 1-Day Shipping option.
  • Average delivery time for domestic orders is 3-7 business days.
  • Average delivery time for international orders is 5-10 business days via DHL only.  
After your order is shipped from our warehouse, it is out of our hands. We are not responsible for lost packages, missed deliveries or undeliverable addresses. 
If you have a question concerning tracking or shipping for domestic orders, please contact USPS.

My jewelry came scratched & looks worn?
Please read the bio of each item before purchasing, some items have a vintage treatment on them allowing for defects. 
 
My item is lost in the mail, what do I do?
We are not responsible for items that are lost or damaged during shipping.
You are also responsible for your order if you enter the wrong shipping address. Please email us immediately if you enter information incorrectly, we will update your order if it has not been shipped yet. 
 
My skin is turning green and my jewelry is rusting, what do I do?
Everyone's skin type is different. Some people have strong reactions to bronze, nickel & gold plating. It's not our fault. If you are susceptible to this, please avoid buying non-solid gold or sterling silver jewelry. 
No refunds or returns are given for this reason or the turning of your jewelry color caused by skins oils. We apologize.
 
What are your materials made of?
All item descriptions will tell you exactly what each part material is made of. If you have questions about gold plated vs. gold filled items, the easiest way to explain is:
  • Gold filled material is the closest thing to gold. It is mixed. Gold filled items will fade and become darker over time but not turn to reveal a different metal underneath.
  • Gold plated is a coat of gold over a lesser metal such as brass, copper or nickel. It is subject to color loss, quicker and easier than gold filled.
Another explanation here:
  • Gold-plated Jewelry - A base metal such as steel or brass is dipped into a bath of electroplating solution, with a lump of solid gold. When an electric current is applied, a thin layer of gold is deposited on the metal. Since the plating is quite thin, the plate (and hence the color) on findings can wear off.
  • Sterling Silver Jewelry - Sterling Silver is a mixture of pure silver and some other metal, usually copper. The resulting alloy gives the silver strength. The standard is at least 92.5% silver. Hence the .925 stamp you see on some sterling silver items.
  • Gold-filled Jewelry - Also called rolled-gold. These jewelry items are not actually filled with gold. They are made of a base metal (usually brass or copper) covered by sheets of gold in a mechanical bonding process. Effectively a thick coat of gold: the gold content is 5% or 1/20 of the total weight. Use gold-filled items for your top-of-the-line jewelry. Usually made with 14k gold, it is hard wearing. With reasonable care it will not peel or flake, and should last as long as solid 14k gold jewelry. It is safe for most people with sensitive skin.
 
Jewelry Allergies
Some people have allergic reactions to some plating. The most common is nickel-plating- possibly up to 10% of people react to nickel. Unfortunately nickel is used to color gold, as an alloy, and sometimes in the electroplating process. If allergy is a problem, most jewelry makers like to use surgical steel, sterling silver, vermeil, or gold-filled items. The plating on plain electroplated items is usually too thin.
For best care, do not shower with your items. If your items do turn immediately, it can be cause by a metal-to-skin oil reaction. Each persons oils make metal react differently, in this case, it's not our responsibility to rerun or exchange your item. We apologize in advance. 
 
Jewelry Care:
For All jewelry other than Solid Gold Fine jewelry:
Please remove your jewelry while exercising, showering and swimming. Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions or hair products. Even natural ones. 
Do not use harsh chemicals, bleach, oil, jewelry cleaners, or polishing cloths, this can affect the finishing. Bagatiba is not responsible for the maintenance of your jewelry
 
 
What if the item I received is damaged or faulty?
We will happily replace a damaged item or re-ship you an item if you received something incorrectly upon arrival. If a charm or chain is different than described please send us an email, all items are hand made & most charms are vintage and will have variations.

How can I track my order?
After your order is shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number.

What is your return policy?
There are no returns or exchanges. Please see our Shipping & Returns page.
 
What if I recieved the wrong item?
If you received the incorrect item, please let our customer service team know by contacting support@bagatiba.com . Please add your Name and Order # in an email and a member of our Support Team will get back to you as soon as possible.
In the rare case that you received the incorrect item, we will be happy to send you the correct one at no additional cost, along with a return label for the incorrect item.
 
What if I put in the wrong address?
If you have provided an incorrect address and your order has not already shipped, we will do our best to update your order with the correct address.
If you provide an incorrect address at the time of the order we cannot guarantee that you will be able to change it. We ship orders quickly.
 
Do you offer Refunds?
We will happily replace a damaged item or reship you an item if you received something incorrectly, but we do not provide refunds. All sales are final.
 
What currency do you charge?

How much does it cost to ship my order?
We offer real time shipping rates depending on your address. At the checkout, your shipping cost will be calculated. Our International shipping option is only DHL. International orders are shipped out Mondays, Wed & Fridays.  

 

I didn't receive my tracking number, where do I get mine?
Please send us an email with your Name & Order # and via our Contact Page.

 

How can I track my order?
A tracking number will be provided when your order has been shipped. Please be patient, as tracking information can take a few days to update. To track the progress of your order, please visit USPS for domestic or DHL for international orders.

 

Will I have to pay any duties on top of my International order?

This Privacy Policy only covers information collected through this Website, and does not cover any information collected offline by us, including information collected by our 3rd Party Wholesale Retail partners.

How you can access, change, or delete your information and preferences: We want to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us. If you prefer not to receive information from us please let us know by sending your written request via email to support@bagatiba.com. Please provide your full name, mailing address, email address, and phone number when making this request.  Include your email address, full name, and specifically what information you do not want to receive. Please note that it may take up to two weeks for your request to become effective.

You agree to receive email from us at the email address you provided to us for customer service-related purposes.

By using the Services or providing “personal information” (as that term is defined in the Privacy Policy) to us, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of the Services. If we learn of a security system’s breach, we may attempt to notify you electronically by posting a notice on the Site or sending an email to you. You may have a legal right to receive this notice in writing. Fees and Payment: Shipping

We will charge you for the Goods you purchase through the Services. Goods will be shipped to the address you designate during the check-out process.

Prices. The price for goods available for purchase through the Services (“Goods”) will be displayed to you on the Services. The prices displayed include taxes. There is no charge for standard shipping, but expedited shipping may be purchased at additional cost. Please see “Shipping” below for more information.

Payments. The Services currently uses third parties to process payments. Our third-party payment processors accept payments through various credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover, as detailed on the applicable payment screen.

United States Dollars. All monetary transactions on the Services take place in U.S. dollars.

Refunds and Returns; Cancellation. If there is an issue with Goods purchased through the Services, please email us at support@1201bstudios.com. Cancellation requests should be directed to support@1201bstudios.com.  Once your order has been issued to our Fulfillment Center, we will be unable to cancel.  

Title. Risk of loss and title for Goods purchased from 1201 B Studios pass to you upon delivery of such Goods to the carrier. You are responsible for filing any claims with carriers for damaged or lost shipments.

Shipping. When you place an order for Goods through the Services, the Goods will be shipped to the address you designate as the “Shipping Address” during the check-out process. Please read FAQ for updated details.

1201 B Studios's Content Ownership and Use

1201 B Studios owns or has rights to all of the content we make available through the Services, but you may use it solely for personal use in connection with your use of the Services. You cannot use our logo without our written permission.

The contents of the Services include: trademarks, designs, text, graphics, images, video, information, names, logos, product and service names, button icons, software, audio files, computer code, domain names and other Bagatiba content (collectively, “ 1201 B Studios content”). All 1201 B Studios content and the compilation (meaning the collection, arrangement, and assembly) of all 1201 B Studios content are the property of 1201 B Studios or its licensors and are protected under copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and other foreign countries.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store or transmit any of 1201 B Studios content. Unauthorized use of 1201 B Studios Content may violate copyright, trademark, and applicable communications regulations and statutes and is strictly prohibited.

Suggestions and Submissions

We appreciate your comments, but if you send us creative ideas, we can use them without compensating you.

We appreciate hearing from our users and welcome your comments regarding the Services. Please be advised, however, that if you send us creative ideas, suggestions, inventions, or materials (“creative ideas”), we shall:

We are not liable for the actions of users when they use the Services. We may also change the Services at any time and are not liable for how this may affect you. We do not guarantee the quality or accuracy of any content you view using the Services or other websites.

Changes to the Services. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time, including hours of operation or availability of the Services or any feature, without notice or liability.

User Disputes. We are not responsible for any disputes or disagreements between you and any third party you interact with using the Services. You assume all risk associated with dealing with third parties. You agree to resolve disputes directly with the other party. You release 1201 B Studios of all claims, demands, and damages in disputes among users of the Services. You also agree not to involve us in such disputes. YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT THE RELEASED PARTIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF THE RELEASED PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM: (i) THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES; (ii) THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES RESULTING FROM ANY GOODS, DATA, INFORMATION OR SERVICES OBTAINED OR MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH, FROM, OR AS A RESULT OF THE SERVICES; (iii) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA; (iv) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY USER OR THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICES; (v) YOUR RELIANCE ON CONTENT MADE AVAILABLE BY US; OR (vi) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. ACCORDINGLY, SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS IN THIS PARAGRAPH MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT POSSIBLE BY LAW, THE RELEASED PARTIES’ MAXIMUM LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICES OR YOUR USE OF THE LINE CONTENT, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR OTHERWISE), WILL NOT EXCEED $100.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claims, actions, or demands, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, alleging or resulting from (i) your use of or reliance on any third-party content, (ii) your use of or reliance on any Bagatiba content, (iii) your breach of these Terms; or (iv) any other acts through your use of the Services. We shall provide notice to you promptly of any such claim, suit, or proceeding.

Additional Terms

1201 B Studios reserves the right to post, from time to time, additional rules of usage that apply to specific parts of the Services. Such additional rules will be posted in the relevant parts of the Services. Your continued use of the Services constitutes your agreement to comply with those additional rules.

General Terms

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties’ intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of these Terms remain in full force and effect. The section titles and annotations in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.

Arbitration, Class Waiver, and Waiver of Jury Trial

We are located in California, so all disputes must be resolved there. We will use arbitration to resolve any problems, and you cannot join a class action lawsuit or obtain a jury trial for any disputes you have with us related to your use of the Services.

These Terms and the relationship between you and 1201 B Studios shall be governed by the laws of the state of California without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You and 1201 B Studios agree to submit to the personal and exclusive arbitration of any disputes relating to your use of the Services under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any such arbitration, to the extent necessary, shall be conducted in Los Angeles in the state of California. You covenant not to sue 1201 B Studios in any other forum.

You also acknowledge and understand that, with respect to any dispute with the Released Parties arising out of or relating to your use of the Services or these Terms:

  • YOU ARE GIVING UP YOUR RIGHT TO HAVE A TRIAL BY JURY;
  • YOU ARE GIVING UP YOUR RIGHT TO SERVE AS A REPRESENTATIVE, AS A PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL, OR IN ANY OTHER REPRESENTATIVE CAPACITY, OR TO PARTICIPATE AS A MEMBER OF A CLASS OF CLAIMANTS, IN ANY LAWSUIT INVOLVING ANY SUCH DISPUTE; AND
  • YOU MUST FILE ANY CLAIM WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER SUCH CLAIM AROSE OR IT IS FOREVER BARRED.
